Refund Policy

Refunds, cancellations, and returns

This page explains, in plain language, what is and isn't refundable at Benthos Health. It summarizes sections 9 and 10 of our Terms of Use, which is the binding agreement and controls if anything here is less specific.

The short version

You pay for a clinical evaluation and, where a clinician prescribes it, the medication program that follows. The evaluation is a service performed by a licensed clinician, and it is complete once they have reviewed your case — including when they decide treatment isn't appropriate for you. Medication cannot be returned once it has shipped. Outside of those two rules, we would rather hear from you than have you guess: email support@benthoshealth.com.

What your payment covers

Your charge covers the clinical evaluation of your intake and the medication program a clinician may prescribe. Payment is collected after you complete your intake and before a clinician reviews it. Completing an intake does not guarantee a prescription — a clinician may determine that treatment isn't appropriate for you, or may ask for more information first.

If a clinician decides treatment isn't right for you

Consultation, evaluation, membership, and administrative fees are non-refundable once the service has been rendered, including where a clinician determines that treatment isn't appropriate for you. The clinical work — a licensed professional reviewing your history and making a medical judgment about your care — has been performed, and that judgment is what you paid for. Nothing is shipped and you are not charged again.

Medication

Prescription medications and other personal-health products are non-returnable and non-refundable once shipped, for safety and regulatory reasons. Federal and state law prohibit the resale or redistribution of returned prescription medication, so we cannot accept a return even if the package is unopened.

Cancelling a subscription

If you are on a subscription plan, you can cancel at any time by emailing support@benthoshealth.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period: you keep what you've already paid for through the end of that period, and you aren't charged again after it.

To avoid a charge or a shipment, cancel at least two (2) business days before your renewal or refill date. Cancelling does not refund amounts already charged, and it does not stop an order that has already been placed, prepared, compounded, or shipped.

Orders lost or damaged in transit

If a shipment is lost in transit or arrives damaged, contact us at support@benthoshealth.com within seven (7) days of the delivery or expected delivery date. We'll work with you and the pharmacy in good faith on a replacement where appropriate.

If you think a charge is wrong

Email support@benthoshealth.com first and we'll look into it. Most billing questions are resolved faster this way than through a payment dispute, and starting a chargeback before contacting us can suspend your access while the dispute is investigated.

Refunds outside this policy

Any refund granted outside this policy is a one-time courtesy at our sole discretion. It doesn't change this policy or create an obligation to grant future refunds. Where applicable law gives you a refund right beyond what's described here, that law applies.
