How it works
A clear, clinician-led process.
Benthos Health is designed to connect people with independent, licensed healthcare professionals who evaluate whether a treatment may be appropriate. Treatment decisions are clinical decisions and are made by those licensed professionals, not by Benthos Health.
- Step 1
Online intake
You complete a structured health intake — sharing relevant history, current health information, and what you're hoping to understand or explore.
- Step 2
Clinical evaluation
A licensed healthcare professional reviews what you shared. They evaluate whether treatment may be appropriate for your specific situation — not against a generic checklist.
- Step 3
Treatment decision
The provider decides whether to recommend treatment and, if so, which option and starting plan. If treatment isn't appropriate, they explain why and what alternatives might make sense.
- Step 4
Prescription and ongoing care
If prescribed, next steps — including how the medication is dispensed — are explained clearly. Follow-up check-ins support the plan as it continues.
Frequently asked questions
Does completing an intake guarantee a prescription?
No. Completing an intake starts a clinical evaluation. A licensed healthcare professional reviews your information and determines whether treatment is clinically appropriate — sometimes the answer is a different recommendation than expected, and that's a normal outcome of a real evaluation.
Who makes the treatment decision?
A licensed healthcare professional makes all treatment decisions. Benthos Health is designed to connect you with that clinical review — it does not make prescribing decisions itself.
How long does the process take?
It depends on how quickly you complete the intake and on provider availability for clinical review. We'll share more specific timelines as our clinical infrastructure is finalized.
What happens after I'm prescribed treatment?
Ongoing care is part of the model — check-ins are designed to support any dose adjustments and let you raise questions as treatment continues, not just a one-time transaction.
Ready to see if treatment is right for you?
Starting the intake doesn't commit you to anything — it starts a clinical review.
